People with hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1b respond better to boceprevir and are less likely to develop drug resistance than those with genotype 1a, according to study findings reported last week at the 6th International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention in Rome.
