Etravirine (TMC-125)

What is the most important information I should know about etravirine?
Etravirine is an experimental non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) being developed by Tibotec, a biotechnology company in Belgium. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is now reviewing the safety and effectiveness of etravirine (the company filed a new drug application [NDA] with the agency in July 2007).
