They also examined the incidence rate for specific drugs or drug combinations.1
In addition, they looked at the relative risk of these drug regimens
compared to zidovudine and 3TC.
An increased risk was found for d4T compared to regimens not
containing this drug.
The highest incidence risk for symptomatic hyperlactatemia
occurred with the combination of d4T/ddI/3TC.
